Why you need to pay attention to vitamin C

Posted by Total Access Medical on Jan 12, 2018

Did you know that low levels of vitamin C cause swollen bleeding gums, weight gain, fatigue, moodiness, easy bruising, chronic infections and more?

Every day problems we might associate with other things can actually be caused by not eating the right foods high in vitamin C. While orange is good it is not the best.

Berries, tropical fruits like kiwis and papayas and leafy greens like spinach are high in vitamin C. Broccoli is an excellent source of this vitamin and is a pretty perfect food all around! Pay attention to what and how much of what you are eating. It will change your life.

Low levels of this vitamin are also responsible for dry hair, nose bleeds and wrinkles!

Optimal levels of vitamin C intake are between 500-1000mg/day.
