Screen Shot 2021-03-28 at 9.16.21 AMSurvey emails are an excellent way to learn what your customers think about your business. Asking someone to take a quick survey is like asking a friend for a favor. Except we're talking about patients, so you need to go above and beyond to let them know how important their participation is to you.

Here's an email template to get started:

Dear (patient name),

At  (company name), we want to hear about your experience with your doctor. Please fill out the following survey, and give us your honest feedback. The survey is short, and it'll help improve customer experiences in the future.

Your feedback powers meaningful discussions within our organization, as well as countless improvements to concierge care. For that, we are so grateful.

We know your time is valuable, and we appreciate your attention.

At the end of the email, insert a push button with a call-to-action. For example, 'Click here to take the survey.' The button can lead to a landing page with containing the survey.

The hardest thing to do when putting a survey together is to keep it focused on one thing.

Instead of listing a bunch of questions, identify different categories and create separate surveys for each one. For example, if you are conducting a customer satisfaction survey, you don’t need to ask detailed questions about your products. Save those questions for a product feedback survey.

Here are example questions that you may want to include in your survey:
  1. How did you find out about (Dr. Name)?
  2. Why did you decide to become a patient of (Dr. Name)?
  3. Before enrolling, did you have any hesitations about enrolling with (Dr. Name)? What were the hesitations?
  4. What best describes your satisfaction level right now with your doctor?
  5. What does your perfect doctor-patient experience look like to you?

People are busy. Respect their time and they’ll be more willing to work with you. It may take a few days to a week to gather the number of responses needed but the results can help improve marketing initiatives.

Use the feedback as testimonials for your business. Testimonials from patients who have taken advantage of the DPC structure and enjoy the results should be posted on the practice website.

Total Access Medical's DPC operations procedure can help you during the pre-launch and growth phase to ensure you are capturing as many enrollments as possible.
